1. Fall of Five

Mousey’s First Story:

There are great smokey (and sometimes soggy) mountains.

In those mountains, there is a neighborhood in an apple orchard.

In the orchard, there lives a mouse, and he’s just called “Mousey.”

Mousey has two best friends, Clementine Pennyfoot and Teddy Bearon.

Mousey and his best friends are all stuffed animals that belong to a boy that lives in a regular house for humans, but they often spend time outside visiting with their neighbors, who are real animals with fur. The stories of their adventures together start one crisp Fall morning the year that boy turned five years old…
