Take good care of the tiny tools.

Did you know YOUR talents are actually “tiny tools?”

There’s a good story about that…

  • You can draw!

Drawing is just a skill. Anyone can learn a skill with practice and time!

When Mousey, Clementine Pennyfoot and Teddy Bearon draw together, they like to start by looking at a complex shapes they see in the world around them, then break that big thing down into smaller shapes they know how to make on paper, such as circles, triangles, and squares

Try your hand at a sketch or two in your very own notebook! Here’s a great way to get started:

  • You can write!

Our minds think in pictures we draw, but also in words we say. These can be used for good kind things, or mean and bad things too. People sometimes say a lot of mean things when they are angry or scared. We can choose when we listen to those words.

We can also write down our own!

  • You can sing!

Happy people often hum, whistle, sing and find other ways to make music.
